The Ginger Surprise
Those that know me know two things:
1: I am a ginger, and;
2: for some reason I have been on a ginger beer kick lately. I have been loving it! So I figured let's combine the two and give it a try. I opted to kick it up a notch and throw in some gin as well. I chose to use Hendricks for its light and floral aromatics, but really any gin will do.

Recipe:
1 oz of Gin (we used Hendricks Gin, but any gin will do)
1.5oz of cider (we used Tall, Dark and Handsome)
0.5 oz of fresh squeezed lemon juice
Ginger Beer
Nutmeg
Sliced apple for garnish
Procedure:
1. Fill a low ball glass with ice.
2. Pour in the gin, cider and lemon juice.
3. Top with ginger beer
4. Garnish with a slice of apple, sprinkle of nutmeg and enjoy!
